Sanding wood floors is a very meticulous process that involves many steps, often times it takes four different passes with 36 grit all the way to 120 grit sandpaper. The heavy duty industrial grade equipment that we use helps flatten floors to remove deep scratches, imperfections and other issues that can arise with having a hardwood floor. Some projects require more sanding than others, that’s why its always best to hire a professional. After the sanding process we use hepa filter vacuums to clean up the wood dust before we apply a new stain, or polyurethane. The tough coating urethanes that we use have different sheens for you to choose from, if you want a matte finish or semi gloss, we can do it!
